umlaut: Introducing German American Artists

German American Artists showcases visual art by American artists of German decent.   The organization was founded by San Francisco area artists Werner Glinka, Inge Infante and Ines Tancré in 2005.
The exhibit is the first in a series of planned exhibitions, and will be on view through June 30, 2006. Featured are works by Werner Glinka, Silke Henkel-Wallace, Inge Infante, Natasha Jülicher, Christine Peirano, and Ines Tancré. Eighteen works offer an overview of the art of these artists whose works range from oil paintings and bronze sculpture to photography, collage and assemblage.
